Robert H. Goddard American Physicist and Rocket Pioneer

Robert Hutchings Goddard (born October 5, 1882 – died August 10, 1945) was an American physicist, engineer, and inventor who is widely regarded as the father of modern rocketry.

On March 16, 1926, Goddard launched the world’s first liquid-fueled rocket in Auburn, Massachusetts, an achievement that laid the groundwork for space travel and exploration. His innovations included multistage rockets, gyroscopic stabilization, and steering with vanes in rocket exhaust.
